See a different side of Northern Thailand through this very unique Challenge! Help teach media literacy to disadvantaged youth and give them the platform to express themselves while exploring all the beauty Thailand has to offer.
This is a unique placement that will give you the opportunity to develop your skills in media literacy in a meaningful and impactful way. You will inspire a curious audience through teaching and facilitating creative and exciting media projects.
Thailand is fully absorbed in the digital age, with a large part of the population embracing the benefits of the last decade’s technological advancements. However the student’s and novice monks that we work with have missed this opportunity to connect and share their creativity and passions.
We have several professional curriculums that the group can choose from or you can propose your own media topic to teach. Your goal for your time in Thailand is to support the students to produce a tangible piece of media. This could be a short video, photography display, advertisement, interviews, etc. You could even run a mini film festival to showcase the work the children have been able to produce with your help!
The positive effects of this unique and meaningful program will be immediately evident during your stay in Thailand, however, through the piece of media created while you are here, you will also leave a memory that will not be forgotten!
